ActivEX Limited is a Brisbane based, Australian Securities Exchange listed company (ASX: AIV) focusing on the acquisition, identification and delineation of quality mineral resource projects through active exploration. The ActivEX Limited portfolio is extensive, with interests in 1 granted Mining Lease, 26 granted exploration licences and 11 exploration licence applications, covering over 2, 527 km2 in Queensland and Western Australia. These licence areas cover highly prospective terrain for copper and gold mineralisation in north and southeast Queensland and in the Cloncurry district of northwest Queensland. The Company also has an advanced potash project in Western Australia where it is investigating optimal leaching methods for extraction and production of potash and by-products.
ActivEX Limited has an equity holding in Metaliko Resources Limited (ASX: MKO) of 27. Metaliko has several gold assets in the Eastern Goldfields of WA and has recently acquired the Bronzewing Gold Project in the south Yandal gold belt of WA (Figure 3). The Bronzewing Gold Project includes a 2Mtpa milling/CIP facility and associated infrastructure, Project tenements and contained gold resources.
The Bronzewing Gold Project operated up until April 2013 when it was placed in Administration. ActivEX Limited’s vision is to be a sustainable minerals exploration company that provides value to its shareholders via discovery, development and mining opportunities.
