Home / About ARI Introducing Adelaide Research & Innovation December 2013 was a milestone for ARI, marking the anniversary of 30 years in business. Over that time, ARI has built a team of experts in Commercial Development, Marketing, Customer Management and Legal and Financial Services to meet the needs of our internal and external partners. By connecting clients and the community with the University’s internationally acclaimed researchers, we endeavour to maximise economic, social, cultural and environmental benefits through the co-creation of innovation and the transfer of knowledge. The results can translate into a commercial advantage for our industry partners, new products and improved processes - or in the case of our work with Government, into positive impacts for society in health, education and welfare. Last year we facilitated nearly $40m worth of business with local and international partners.
During the last 5 years we have contributed $2.6m to promising early-stage technologies from our own . We also leveraged millions more from venture capital and angel investors as well as commercially focussed support programs provided by Government. In addition we add value through our, presenting to around 800 University staff each year spruiking commercial excellence and entrepreneurial attitudes. Adelaide Research & Innovation Pty Ltd is wholly owned by the and is responsible for managing all IP commercialisation, contract research and consulting activity.
