Opening Hours: Tuesday - Sunday 10am - 5pm Originally an old dairy, the MARS building was neglected and run down during its use as a warehouse and a mechanical workshop. Remarkably reincarnated blending aspects of the old and the new, MARS is a unique space that offers a backdrop of simplicity and generous proportions to showcase outstanding contemporary Australian and International art from emerging and established artists. MARS has now proudly exhibited over 60 shows with some of the highlights to date including Robert Jacks, Jan Senbergs, Anne Judell, Louiseann Zahra-King, Andrew Logan, Rose Holzer and Stephane Guiran, Julie Irving, Samual Tupou and William Eicholtz. The everyday activity of the gallery is to showcase monthly over two floors a cross-section of local and interstate contemporary artists working in a broad spectrum of diverse media.
