In 1962 Harry Barrett, already a motor dealer at Burwood, opened a new yard at Homebush selling government used vehicles. As the business grew larger, so also did the premises grow to occupy land on both sides of Parramatta Road. Over many years of successful business, Harry built up a reputation second to none for fair and honest trading. Today, Harry still plays a hands-on role in the business with the team ably led by his son Andrew.
