Brian Agar began BMS Steel Cutting and Fabrication Pty Ltd with his son Scott back in July 1989. Not long after, Brian’s other son Mark joined the business. The business was located on a small premise on Jessica Road Campbellfield containing only an Esab Profile Cutting Machine with four heads and a mobile tractor crane for lifting steel.
After 2 years, BMS Steel purchased a block of land around the corner in Merola Way, and built a factory there. Today, Brian, Mark and Scott, work with 5 other staff.
There now is a grinder, oxy cutter, waterjet cutter and a plasma machine. The tractor crane is still present!
