Homoeopathy is an energetic system of medicine which was founded by the German physician and chemist Dr. Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843). The founding principle of homoeopathy is taken from an ancient principle called the Law of Similars “like cures like”. What this means is that a medicine that can produce certain effects when taken by a healthy person, is also capable of healing any illness that displays similar effects, when taken in a diluted, non-toxic dosage e.g. too much caffeine can cause sleeplessness and agitation, when taken in a homoeopathic prepared medicine can alleviate these same symptoms being suffered by someone.

Homoeopathy is a natural, safe, and gentle system of healing that is based on using minute ‘homoeopathic’ doses to stimulate and encourage the natural healing systems of the body to bring harmony between mind, body, and spirit. The human body is self-sufficient with its own healing mechanisms that repair and preserve its structure and functions. Based on this fact, homoeopathy is designed to stimulate and support this healing mechanism.

There is no medicine for any particular disease a person may be suffering from; rather there is a medicine for the person who is suffering from the disease.
