The Deer Park Club Inc. was formally known as the ICI Club. Founded in 1957 by the ICI company (now Orica) as a social club for its employees, the club has developed into a successful community based venue. Back in the 50s ICI was the major employer of the area with many residents working at the site. The original Club was extremely innovative for its time and the community was rightly proud of its new sports and recreation facility.
The Deer Park Club has grown over the years and continues to do so with a strong community spirit behind it. The only way to remain a leader in the tough service driven industry is to provide superior service to the members and guests, something the staff pride themselves with at our club. All new members are welcomed. The club has various sporting bodies including Mens and Ladies Bowls and a social Golf Club.
