Our clinic was officially opened in April 1984 by Dr Tim Wade-Ferrell, Chiropractor. Being active in the local community, specially the sporting community, Dr Tim was aware that there was a real lack of Chiropractic services in the area. He decided that it was his local community that most needed his services. Dr Tim’s introduction was via his father, Eris, who had suffered polio aged 18.
Eris was lucky to have been introduced to Chiropractic in 1971 and Dr Tim saw the dramatic improvement and knew that this was where he was headed. Opening the clinic was but a start. Continued study led Dr Tim to the Activator Methods Chiropractic Technique.
While a bit hesitant at first to believe that such a gentle thrust could have any effect Dr Tim was adjusted by a chiropractor who was expert in this technique. The dramatic results were enough to propel Dr Tim to study through the various stages of proficiency, ultimately qualifying as an instructor and examiner in Activator Methods Chiropractic Technique here in Australia. Caring for families, from newborns to the elderly, Carlingford Chiropractic is proud to have been part of the local health care fraternity for so long with some families having 4 generations who all see Dr Tim for their care.
