Dymocks Carindale is a family-owned and operated bookstore established at Westfield Carindale in 2011. The carefully-curated collection of around 44 000 unique titles makes it one of the best-stocked suburban bookstores in Australia, and the largest bookstore on Brisbane’s south-side. We seek to make our bookstore exciting, stimulating and welcoming, while retaining the appearance and ambience of bookstores from the past which are gradually disappearing.
Our strength is our team, carefully chosen from hundreds of high achievers, booklovers and readers. We have staff with 35 years in the industry; we have 30-year experienced teachers; balanced by our young people - extraordinary achievers and leaders from their schools; blessed with the love of reading and enrolled in courses as diverse as medicine, law, business, education, economics, creative industries and biomedical science.
What they have in common is their love of books; that they are gifted interpersonally; that they are motivated towards providing a world-class customer service experience; and the fact that, each week, they read books and know them. We look forward to meeting you at Dymocks Carindale.
