ECS was established in Townsville in 2004 and was originally trading under the name Enviro Concepts & Solutions Pty Ltd. When we first opened, our primary objective was to service the increasing demand for quality and inexpensive solutions to environmental concerns in North Queensland. Between 2006 and 2008, Engineering Contract Support evolved to become a well known, quality service provider for the installation, maintenance and repairs of a diverse variety of equipment in North Queensland. Our focus was on employing highly trained and experienced tradesmen with a vast knowledge of a range of plant and equipment.
Since 2008, we have been busy reinforcing our reputation as a leading North Queensland O. M repairer and agent for various brands of cranes and equipment. Our commitment to ensuring our clients receive quality work at an affordable price, has resulted in a rapid growth to our client base and we are now supplying clients within the mineral, mining, crane, transport, construction and defence industries.
We believe the decision to continue expanding the company to meet the needs of our clients’, is responsible for our continued growth and is the reason why we continue to be a preferred supplier to the mineral, crane, transport, construction and defence industries. Company Founder and Director, Glen King has been involved in the mining, power generation & shipping industries in Northern Australia and South East Asia for over 30 years. Glen has also been a Founding Director of two other successful engineering companies in the region.
