Established in 1980, Geelong Telephone Company (GTC) is the largest privately owned and operated Telecommunications Company in Geelong, who specialise in all telecommunications technologies including; Data, Voice, VoIP, Video Conferencing, Unified Communications, Fibre Optics, Wireless and Structured Cabling Solutions, servicing clients throughout Geelong, Melbourne, and South Western Victoria. Our technical team consist of over 15 qualified and accredited ACMA technicians, with over 200 years of combined industry experience. Our services include consulting, project management, installation, maintenance and support. Currently GTC manage over 10, 000 handsets across Victoria.
GTC was acquired by Joste Pty Ltd in July 2013 with the business having two divisions, Construction and Telecommunications. The Construction division is focused on large infrastructure projects implementing structured cabling and fibre solutions to support voice, data, electronic security and wireless networks. Some of our recent projects include the Deakin University Burwood Highway Frontage Project, Deakin University Student Residents Accommodation Project (Waurn Ponds), University GARS Library Project (Waterfront Campus), and the Surfcoast Shire Offices (Torquay), to name a few.
Our Telecommunications Division focuses on designing, installing and maintaining telecommunications systems across all business sectors including Education, Local and State Government Departments, Retail, Health, Manufacturing, and Construction.
