Description

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Mackay - Macalister Street offers the inner city community a place where children can be close to their parents work, making the daily drop-off and pick-up convenient stress free. We cater for city workers and for the numerous families who live in Mackays high density inner city areas with educators committed to delivering the highest standard in early education. Inside, all of the rooms - from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning; and we are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school. Nutritious meals (lunch and afternoon tea) are provided by our centre cook daily.
The favourite is pasta carbonara served with a tomato and bean salad. Yum! We cater for babies from six weeks to school age. A major focus for our centre is how working with the broader community can help us enrich the children’s learning experience. Through visits to the centre as well as excursions and participation in community events, we are able to deepen…
