Who is Higher Art? Higher Art, located in Paddington, offers original, international artwork to private, corporate and Government clients. Organisations may hire or purchase the artwork, depending on their specific needs. Higher Art specialises in limited-edition works on paper, including original etchings, mezzotints, lithographs, woodcuts and aquatints. Each artwork is completely hand-made and the styles range from traditional landscapes to bold, contemporary abstracts.
Artists & Provenance The gallery’s collection consists of over three thousand works by an exclusive group of European, Asian and American graphic artists, many of whom are represented in major museums, national galleries, and other prestigious public and private collections around the world. Some of the artwork dates back to the early 1960s and many works are the last available for sale to the public. Higher Art’s directors continue to expand and update the collection, much of which originated with a renowned gallery in New York City that has been in continuous operation for 45 years.
The directors also maintain close personal ties with many of the international artists and travel regularly to source both new works and new artists.
