Bright Highland Valley Cottages is award winning accommodation located only one kilometre from the centre of Bright. Each cottage has been newly renovated and redecorated with new modern furniture and fittings. There is a king-size bed in one bedroom and two singles in the other. There are two TVs, a DVD, CD, docking station and free wifi in every cottage. The cottages are set in one acre of peaceful, park-like grounds with barbeques, a pool and childrens playground.
You can drive to the centre of town in three minutes or take a ten minute walk along the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail which runs along the back fence. Bright is a town for all seasons. In spring the beautiful deciduous trees for which the town is famous are breaking through and the Bright Spring Festival is in full swing with open gardens, street markets and firework displays. In summer the trees provide shade for fruit and produce markets and lazy lunches in one of the regions may wineries.
In autumn the changing leaves provide a blaze of colour as they change to gold, red, orange and yellow. This is the time of the Bright Autumn Festival with street displays, parades and fashion shows. Finally in winter Bright provides a lower priced accommodation alternative for skiiers visiting Mt Hotham, Mt Buffalo and Falls Creek.
