Karls Megasports was first established in Moe in the 80’s by Karl & Sue Mohr. The business evolved from originally being operated as a Florist by Karl’s parents, for over 10 years, into a firearms and camping store and from there into a specialty sports store, which is now known as Macca’s Megasports. Now into its third generation of business, Justin Mohr operates two stores in Traralgon and Bairnsdale, and has also expanded within these stores into the surf Industry in Traralgon & Bairnsdale, along with a stand alone Surf store in Sale, Inland Surf .
The Traralgon business has supported and serviced the local community for over 20 years and Bairnsdale for over 13 years. The company has a vibrant and motivated team, which is the key to its on going success as a local family business.
The Bairnsdale Store has been recently restructured with two long term employees, David Townsend and Melanie Tarling becoming shareholders of the business, both having long term industry knowledge and are an integral part of the success of the business.
