Kontrols & Industrial Weighing (KIW) was formed in June 1998 to take over the business of PHILIPS scientific & industrial division in Australia (Industrial Weighing). Globally this division was sold to SARTORIUS Corp, making it one of the world biggest weighing technology organisations, and KIW is the sole Australian distributor for SARTORIUS mechatronics equipment. Over the past 12 years KIW has successfully executed a multitude of weighing projects in Australian industry.
Industry types served include: Pharmaceutical, food, industrial chemicals, carpet, leather, defence, mining, paint, inks, research laboratories, glass and many others. KIW have vast experience in all facets of weighing technology but consider ourselves especially accomplished in the application of manual, semi automatic and fully automatic batching / filling solutions, gas industry and hazardous area applications.
