What began as a modest start-up out of CEO and founder Dan Skills apartment in 2012, quickly grew into an unexpected success. Dan Skills larger vision is to connect peoples social aspects of life and assist in making these aspects easier to organise. The companys first steps were into the Carpooling area, and this was out of a need. Dan Skill needed to travel from one place to another and at the time did not have a working vehicle. Considering the limited options available of expensive Taxis, Trains and Buses that simply dont show up on time or dont go near the desired area, it seemed that after looking around that no one was providing an alternative methods at a fraction of the cost, and if they were they were half heartly doing so. CEO Dan Skill wondered if other people were experiencing the same issue. People who would Carpool but have not been able to find the right people, or means to build the right relationships with other people to safely carpool.
This is where LifeSocial Carpooling started. To this day we hope that users establish their community of friends on LifeSocial and share, organise and a whole lot more. The companys growth means this is no longer a one-man operation, and we hope to further expand in the future. Dan Skill is the founder, CEO and leader behind LifeSocial, Australias leading Carpooling site. After working in the I. T Industry for over 15 years and working at several dot com companies.
Dan identified the potential for a better way to carpool. In 2012 LifeSocial was born.
