How it all started. Lock IT Down commenced 13 years ago doing just that - locking down desktop computers across hundreds of Perth schools. Lock IT Down had its beginnings as PC Locs, and for the first three years occupied the lounge room and then the small backyard shed of the Symons’ family home. A request from Apple to design and build a laptop trolley for the first Mac books entering some Australian schools set PC Locs on a very different course.
This would result in PC Locs becoming a manufacturer of laptop transport, storage and security solutions - the biggest in the Southern Hemisphere. To distinguish between the two product types (storage solutions for sets of laptops versus security solutions for individual PCs, Laptops etc), Lock IT Down was established as the new company. Lock IT Down continues to provide that same quality service that set things going from day one - the design, development, manufacture, supply and even installation of the world’s best and most innovative IT physical security devices.
