Lodhia Lawyers has been established by Akash Lodhia, Managing Director/Solicitor. He holds degrees in Economics and Law, and also is an appointed Notary Public. He has gained extensive experience working in government agencies and in private practice specialising in commercial and property law.
He has acted for a number of listed companies. With respect to his commercial practice he has experience in buying and selling businesses, franchising, leasing, assisting with small to medium businesses in setting up their corporate structures, asset protection, intellectual property, trade practices law, commercial disputes, joint ventures and shareholdings, acquisitions and disposals, alternative dispute resolution, financing and contract law.
His property experience includes acting for and on behalf of developers in advising on property acquisitions, construction law, sub-divisions and ‘off-the-plan’ sales. He has memberships with several associations and community bodies and has co-authored a chapter on wills, probate and administration law.
