The team of Psychologists and Counsellors at Magnolia House is committed to providing the highest quality professional assistance to those who seek our help. All our practitioners have over 10 years experience and some have over 20 years of working with individuals, couples and families.
This experience means our practitioners have become skilled at helping people with a wide range of difficulties. Whether these be, for example, depressive episodes, anxiety, stress, loss and grief, mental illness, or trauma recovery, Magnolia House practitioners bring compassion, caring and up to date knowledge of how to tackle these and other life difficulties.
Our practitioners are equally at home working with individuals as they are with couples and families. When there are relationship difficulties, between spouses or partners, parents and children or adolescents and / or family of origin issues as well as family separation and divorce, a skilled therapist who can meet with people together can provide opportunities for resolution which may not be achieved with individual work only.
Some of our practitioners also have expertise in medico-legal areas, assisting clients by providing reports for legal representatives in criminal, personal injury and Family Court matters. Mediation is available for those wishing resolutions outside the formal Court proceedings or in conjunction with it.
Our experienced practitioners offer consultation and supervision to other practitioners and we are available for training and workshop presentations.
