The story of nobody began from a small, family-built denim laundry in the backstreets of melbourne’s fitzroy.

In 1999 “nobody” was officially born – a label founded on the belief that making jeans could be imbued with integrity and creativity; representative for the love of the cloth.
Nobody was created to represent a “no designer hero” ethos: nobody didn’t want to create jeans with any fixed message or identity, always putting integrity first and making the very best jeans.
Nobody began by designing their own unique tools and techniques in the hand customisation of denim. Nobody have spent decades discovering the different characteristics of denim cloth, the way it reacts and all the beautiful subtleties the cloth possesses. Their design process creates the best fit possible by looking at the different shrinkages, reactions, life and shape retention of denim.
