Description
Since 1852 Stanley General Store has offered locals and visitors alike access to the essentials in life.
Extensively remodelled in 2011 when the store and post office closed.
We decide that the old Store would suit a cafe, we now have a kitchen environment and menu that perfectly suits the Stanley lifestyle of casual good living. We opened again for 2012 with the essentials now extended to wonderful coffee and beautiful food.
Theres more to come with the old store hosting "The Postmasters Office" Music event and opening for small functions and catering.
Drop in for a newspaper and coffee or make a day of it with breakfast, a walk on one of the many walking trails followed by a long lunch. Bring your children, bikes etc most importantly, your appetite.
