Perth Rentals Hire was started in 1968 when Geoff Long left the 6KY radio station and decided to go into business. One year later Ray Connop, a colleague from 6KY, joined him and the two friends began to rent out twin tub washing machines, single door fridges, and black and white televisions, all from a backyard in Como. It wasnt long before they outgrew their make-shift office/shed and moved into an old picture theatre in Rivervale. They stayed at this premises for a few years before outgrowing it too. Once again they were on the move.
Finally, they settled on the current premises on Goongarrie Street in Bayswater. Thankfully, Perth Rentals Hire has remained at this location to this very day. Today, Perth Rentals Hire is a thriving rental business, and we continue to expand the range of goods we hire out. We continue to rent washing machines, fridges, and televisions, just like in the old days (although of course, the models we rent out today are drastically different than they were last century! We also have lots more electronics (including computers of all sorts), more white goods, furniture, and exercise machines for you to choose from.
We believe a key to our long term success has been respecting our customers. To this end, we provide free delivery and free setup on new rentals, we always offer the lowest rental rates, and we make sure to have friendly helpful customer service.
