First opened Pierrots Hair Studio on 12th May 1983 in Kalamunda with a very small salon and 2 staff. I am so proud of how our salon, styling team and customer base has grown over these 31 years. Today, the Pierrot’s brand are a group of gold accredited salons & in the TOP100 Australian National Salons List. I have spent three quarters of my life in the hairdressing industry - 40 years to be exact. The amount of things I have done, contributed & learnt are memories I will cherish throughout my lifetime. Everything I have learnt I applied to Pierrot’s Hair Studios, with the aim of creating the very best experience for both guests and staff. These past 31 years have been momentous, but especially these last 2 years, the Pierrot’s brand has enjoyed much successes, accolades & recognition.
In 2013 we celebrated a milestone of 30 years in business with 3, 000 guests in attendance at Ascot Racecourse in grand fashion. We were then thrilled to win the National AVEDA Colour Harmony Awards 2013, which was a celebration of my colour work. Since then Pierrot’s has gone on to win countless awards as shown above. One that I am very thrilled about is becoming a finalist for the prestigious Hair Expo Awards in Sydney for Excellence in Marketing. My team & I put in a lot of time and effort into planning campaigns & activities, and to be picked as a finalist for that was truly amazing. Not forgetting our AHIA State Salon of the Year Award 2014 in Brisbane.
I am committed to providing a stimulating & forward thinking environment for my team & I think these awards reflect that ambition & mission. I am so proud of my team who travel extensively for training & competitions, which allows them to bring the best of hairdressing skills to their guests.
