We are a local family owned and run Design, Building and Construction business. Simon and Anita Magor have been in the industry for over 25 years and believe in providing personal service and care in every project. Simon had extensive mentoring and training by Master Builder George Richter, one of the German old school builders from the Yankalilla district. By passing on valuable traditional techniques to the then eager apprentice, Simon soon developed a sound knowledge of the whole building process from foundation to completion. After completing his apprenticeship in Carpentry and Joinery, Simon soon furthered his knowledge base by successfully attaining his Advanced Diploma in Building and attaining his General Builders licence then going on to build many projects on the South Coast. During this time Simon attained his Diploma in Building Design, whilst working as a Construction Manager for a large building firm gaining more valuable experience.
Simon has trained over 14 apprentices passing on skills and knowledge he has obtained. Still having some of these tradesmen working with him now ensures good quality control. Simon has been a HIA member for over 20 years and “Greensmart” accredited through the Housing Industry Association. This has added some more valuable knowledge in Energy Efficient Design and Energy Efficient building techniques. By working closely with clients, Simon has enjoyed the individual challenges each new project brings, by ensuring the clients receive personalization and attention to detail that will help their journey become a reality as they build their new home, making a wonderful and satisfying building experience for all.
