About Us. Sheridans has been making badges in Perth since 1913. The business started out as a small jewellery workshop behind the Sheridan family home. The advent of World War 1 led to a demand for various types of regalia and the need for heavier equipment. And so began Sheridans Engraving and Metal Stamping Company.
Today we are a third generation family firm and continuing to supply quality badges and medallions to all levels of governments, schools, sports clubs and business organisations. We pride ourselves on the craftsmanship used to create the special dies necessary to translate your design into an appealing badge. Made from hardened tool steel, we use these to emboss the badges from solid copper or brass. Fortunately, our development of computerised equipment has helped bring the cost of die making within everyones budget.
We also make high quality name badges, which allow you to recognise an individuals endeavour or position. A Sheridans name badge presents an image of importance and durability. We also manufacture spoons, key rings and other important mementoes such as life remembering badges. All of these can be presented in an attractive velvet box or pouch.
