Southstar Asbestos Removals are licensed Class B (non-friable) asbestos removal specialists providing services within Melbourne’s northern, eastern and western suburbs and country Victoria.
We remove asbestos contaminated materials found within all types of domestic, commercial and industrial structures. With EPA approved trucks we also collect asbestos and non-asbestos related waste as a part of our disposal services.
Fully licensed (licence no. H16/00114) and insured means we are covered with Worksafe and up to $20 million worth of public liability and indemnity insurance to undertake the work that we do. All our work gets notified to Worksafe five days prior to the removal of asbestos of more than 10sqm.
We are committed to operating to high quality safety standards by ensuring we meet our requirements under the OH&S Act and regulations. This means making sure that our staff are safe and only work using safe handling techniques and ensuring all nearby on-going passengers are protected and informed of the asbestos removal work with the use of caution signage and tape and other hazard control methods.
