When having your procedure as a day case, you will be admitted to either the Day Surgery Unit, Endoscopy Unit, Minor Procedure Unit or the Short Stay Unit. We strive to provide you with very good care and hope your admission is relaxing and comfortable. Our reception areas have been designed with your comfort in mind and feature: Large comfortable resting chairs, Televisions, Laptop desks and internet access points, Magazines, Outdoor courtyard with comfortable seating. Patients having a day procedure performed in the Cardiac and Vascular Intervention Laboratory will be admitted to the Day Surgery Unit unless booked by their consultant into the hospital for an overnight stay.
