Description
Dr. Albert Goh MBBS, BSc(Med), UNSW, FRANZCR Dr Albert Goh graduated from the University of New South Wales, Australia and is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists. Dr Goh has undergone sub-specialty post graduate fellowship training in Peripheral Endovascular Intervention, Body Intervention and Neuro-vascular Radiology. He is an active member of the Interventional Society of Australasia and a member of the Panel of Clinical Experts of the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing. He has presented papers both internationally and locally including the World Federation of Interventional Therapeutic Neuroradiology and The World Congress of Ambulatory Surgery.
His main interests include vascular, spinal and musculoskeletal intervention. Arterial endovascular intervention includes angioplasty, stenting and embolisation, including treatment of arterial aneurysms. Venous intervention encompasses ovarian/testicular vein embolisation and he has extensive experience in renal dialysis access maintenance and salvage. Dr Goh also runs a busy venous access service including portacath and Hickman catheter insertion for patients with cancer requiring chemotherapy and bone marrow/stem cell transplantation.
He performs spinal and musculoskeletal injections, including epidural blocks, facet joint blocks and percutaneous vertebroplasty. Dr Goh is a Staff Specialist at Royal North Shore Hospital with admitting rights to North Shore Private Hospital and is a partner at North Shore Radiology. Dr Goh also provides Interventional Services in the Northwest Corridor of Sydney and practices independently at Norwest Private and Westmead Private Hospitals.
