Whitings Chartered Accountants was founded by John Whiting in 1987 with the intention of developing a personalised service, family oriented business. The business has developed totally from referrals. The accounting practice now has over 20 staff. We still maintain our personalised approach in delivering our service. The firm specialises in providing quality tax accounting and business advice. Our positioning statement, "dedicated solutions" reflects the ethos of the firm to provide specifically tailored solutions to clients financial problems.
We do this by advising comprehensively on tax, accounting, business advice, debt restructuring, financial planning, estate planning and risk, with a strong emphasis on building retirement assets including self-managed superannuation funds. The Partners each obtained a Securities Dealers Licence in 1993 and formed the Financial Planning Arm of the business, Whitings Financial Services. Two full-time planners have joined the business and are highly skilled in all financial planning matters. The two businesses work collaboratively to provide clients a complete financial service in a one-stop shop. Whitings offers innovative, smart, commercial, tax and financial planning advice that is tailored to the specific needs of your business.
Our systems ensure proactive training and advice to clients. We do not need to wait for the client to ask the right questions before delivering the right answers! We routinely write management review letters emphasising risk areas, and areas where clients can improve their business and increase efficiency. We have the latest software which allows clients to have greater choice, whether it be in operating a self-managed superannuation fund, pension fund or in maintaining their business accounts. Our accounting and IT staff can provide IT support on a wide variety of accounting packages as needed. We offer in-house training on request.
