Our Treating Staff Profiles Bernadette Hodgson BSW MAASW (Social Worker) Bernadette completed her high schooling at St Joseph's College in Mildura and further studies at La Trobe University in Mildura. Bernadette completed her bachelor of Social Work in 2005 and went on to work in community based mental health in both direct practice and team leading positions. Bernadette also has experience in working with families and children spending time working within local family service agencies and education department. Bernadette completed an intensive course in Narrative Therapy with the Dulwich Center in Adelaide. Bernadette has also trained in debriefing and defusing in critical incidents with professor Rob Gordon. Bernadette has an interest in mental health, critical incident stress management and debriefing, family therapy and professional mentoring; Bernadette practices mostly from strengths based, narrative and cognitive behavioral perspectives. Bernadette delivers assessment, reporting and/or counselling services for Employee Assistance Programs, Better Outcomes in Mental Health Care, TAC, Victims of Crime (NSW & Vic), Vietnam Veteran's Counselling Service, Workcover, Private Referrals and other assessment and reporting services as negotiated. Nikolette Wilkie BSW MAASW (Social Worker) Nikolette completed her schooling in the Mildura district and her further study in Melbourne. She was registered as a Social Worker in 2002 during which time she worked in education, aquired brain injury support, geriatric support services and community counselling. Nikolette as worked as a on-call worker for sexual assault support services, in adult and child and adolescental mental health case management and crisis response services, family trauma, preservation and support services, adolescent intensive support services and in generalist counselling.
