Description

There is a great deal of preliminary preparation required onsite prior to landscaping. Whether you wish your gate piers to be finished in rock, brick, timber or steel, the appropriate hot-dip galvenised steel reinforcing posts fitted with industrial hinges have to be installed prior to their cladding. During that excavation and concreting process our fully licenced electricians will lay all the wiring beneath the driveway in preperation for connecting power to your gates. This takes in the options of combining photo electric safety beams or security cameras and intercom into your project. With our professional guidance, prepared correctly, the actual gate accounts for only two thirds to half of the entire gate installation. The gate itself can be a contemporary sculptural design or a beautiful traditionally inspired piece.
It is your choice and every gate is unique. The Village Forge endeavours to design a distinctive work of art for your home front. History Future Plans The Village Forge is always growing with every new project. The Workshop was updated in 2007 with the latest cutting edge metal fabrication equipment; ie. Three Phase Mig Welder and Plasma Cutter.
Along with every Smithies dream, the installation of a german made three tonne Beche, Pneumatic Hammer shipped over from Perth. Ongoing training at Ultimo, Sydney and the pleasure of working with an excellent array of very talented craftsman, architects and engineers, which will enrich the scope and range of projects to come. The Village Forge (TVF) has been aquiring equipment for the casting of Bronze and Aluminium three dimesional work during the last couple of years and looks forward to being able to provide these skills as a new dimension to add to unique sculptural gate designs.
